basketball 02:28
all is still, all is quiet - i see two white curtains tied-up. all is new, all is you - walking towards me like a black olive. and i see patterns in the leaves as they make the ground below me. and i am three dark shades of the green and this a code for everything. all is you, all is us - as we walk towards the sign for the city bus. all is new, all is all - pick up the neighborhood cat like a basketball. and i see patterns in the leaves as they make they ground below me. and i am three dark shades of green and this means everything. and you are everything.

photographer 02:28
baby sleep tonight inside your bed. i don't wanna repeat everything you said. baby sleep tonight inside your bed. i don't wanna repeat everything said. baby talk tonight inside your bed. tell me things that you won't remember - like that i am a photographer. i don't know if it's against the code to make art about all the personal things that go on in your room. baby sleep tonight inside your bed. baby sleep tonight, i won't try to tell you everything you said. don't know if you will remember. i don't know if you will remember...

i just got back to town. i don't wanna see you around. i just got home. i don't wanna talk on the phone, i don't wanna go to your show, i don't wanna meet you in the alcove. 'cause i just got home from work. i don't wanna see you with her. 'cause i just got back. i don't wanna look at your eye, i don't wanna listen to your set, i don't wanna remember what it's like. there is a moth, and it's flying towards my jaw. there is a moth, and it's flying towards my stoop. there is a moth, and it's tattooed. 'cause i just got back to town. i don't wanna see you around. 'cause i just got home. you've got yours, i've got my own.

oh my good friend, where have you been? holding on to where we go, don't you stop now, don't you know - don't you hurt me like i've hurt you. oh my good friend, where have you been? holding on to where we go, don't you stop now, don't you know - don't you leave me where i've left you. you let me down. so many leaves on the ground. see you years from now. oh my good friend, where have you been - holding on to where we go, don't you stop now, don't you know - don't you leave me where I've left you. you let me down. so many leaves on the ground. see you years from now. see you. see you. see you.

door opening 02:25
it seems it could've been forgotten - but it wasn't in my dreams. i dreamed about a door opening - it was the first words that escaped my mouth. it could've been forgotten - but then i put it in this song. i haven't written one in so long. think of all the other things that have been forgotten... i almost forgot to tell you about when i awoke from my dream - but since i was in your bed, i collapsed in bliss instead.

i kissed her 01:46
i kissed her - she was soft and blue - i kissed her boyfriend, too. i kissed her - i put on my shoes - i said "it's not you." i kissed her, i kissed her. she was soft and blue - i'm soft and blue, too.

i close my eyes and listen to hear the corn come out. don't you hear the stars they glisten - as we go in and out. down where the trees grow together and the western path comes to an end - see the sign it says clear weather i'll meet you tonight, my friend. will the corn be growing a little tonight as I wait in the fields for you - who knows what grows in the morning light when we can feel the watery dew. i just can't be there with no other - i know those hills will be true - away from my sister and brother down through the grasses so new. the air is sweet and steady and flowers bloom out of sight. i know the sky is ready – come meet me down here tonight. will the corn be growing a little tonight as I wait in the fields for you - who knows what grows in the morning light as we can feel the watery dew.
